Sarah Cusey

Sarah Cusey is a visual artist, educator, and nonprofit administrator currently serving as the Project Manager and Lead Trainer for Nexus, Monarch School Project’s Center of Training and Innovation. Sarah leverages her MBA, teaching background, and experience as a social practice artist to engage a wide range of stakeholders in strategic projects that advance the missions of nonprofits and benefit the broader community. She is proud to have collaborated on San Diego Unified’s Learning Through the Arts Program, Arts Education Connection’s Teaching Artist Institute, Teaching Artist Circle, and now Monarch School Project’s Nexus. Sarah’s work is rooted in asset-based practices– her mantra is, “everyone has something to teach and something to learn.”
