Prebys Sparx launched on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Between August 22, 2024 and November 7, 2024, you are invited to learn about the challenge, complete the readiness tool, and register.

Before submitting an application, participants must complete registration no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Time on Thursday, November 7, 2024.

Applications will be accepted from registered participants for one month after registration has closed. Applications are due no later than 3:00 PM Pacific Time on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.

Over a period of a couple weeks, the Prebys Sparx team will review each application to ensure that it complies with the application requirements and rules.

During this period, the Evaluation Panel judges will score and comment on their assigned applications using the scoring rubric.

Informed by the Evaluation Panel, the Selection Committee will choose up to four honorable mentions who will each receive $25,000 and one grand prize winner who will receive the $1 million award.
