Nikhil Plettner Booker
Nikhil Plettner Booker is a student at San Diego High School and an Aaron Price Fellow. Nikhil is active in several communities, and is passionate about medicine and our criminal justice system. Nikhil is on the varsity tennis team and practices at Barnes Tennis Center. He also practices a Brazilian martial art called Capoeira (at the Capoeira Luanda school), and is a violinist with the Pioneer Philharmonic Orchestra (a youth led ensemble). Nikhil is also an attorney with the San Diego High Mock Trial Club, a member of the Asian Pacific Islander Student Union at San Diego High, and a member of the inaugural district wide Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Student Board. Nikhil hopes to complete an International Baccalaureate Diploma, and start a Students Against Mass Incarceration club at his school. He is honored to help judge this contest, and is excited about learning different ways people plan to help their communities.
