Angel Hu

Angel Hu (they/them) is a Leadership Coach, facilitator, and educator based in the Kumeyaay nation, commonly known as San Diego, California. An academic researcher turned Chief of Staff at MongoDB, Angel specializes in helping leaders transform their relationships with work by incorporating frameworks and tools from mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and group dynamics. Angel now works at the Nonprofit Institute as a Graduate Fellow in addition to facilitating courses at Yale School of Management and Yale Law School. Angel is the President of Grex, a nonprofit organization that encourages access to education regarding group dynamics and social systems. A PhD Student in Leadership Studies at the University of San Diego, Angel earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an M.A. in Social-Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
