Kevin LaChapelle is the CEO of the San Diego American Indian Health Center (SDAIHC), a healthcare leader, author, and global advocate with over 30 years of experience. Under his leadership, SDAIHC has implemented innovative initiatives like the Refugee Health Assessment Program and mobile health unit to provide accessible, culturally competent care to underserved communities. With a background in law enforcement and global humanitarian work, Kevin brings unique insights to healthcare policy, advocacy, and community health.
Kevin regularly presents for the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program. As co-founder of PowerMentor, he champions human rights and empowers marginalized communities worldwide. Kevin holds a Doctor of Education, a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Business Management. His work is driven by compassion, transparency, and a commitment to improving lives locally and globally.
