Karen Winston

Karen is responsible for the external communications for Alliance Healthcare Foundation, including branding, messaging and outreach through the foundation’s website and social media channels. She also has programmatic and grant review responsibilities for special initiatives, including Alliance’s Innovation Initiative (i2) $1 Million Challenge Grant and the Imperial Valley Wellness Foundation.

Previously, Karen worked in various marketing communication and business development roles for a variety of businesses, including nonprofits. Her most recent nonprofit experience before joining Alliance was with business accelerator CONNECT, where she served as Vice President of Programs, creating and marketing programs designed to educate entrepreneurs in how to build successful businesses.
