Inez Gonzalez Perezchica
Dr. Inez González Perezchica is the Executive Director of MANA de San Diego (MANASD), where she focuses on empowering Latinas to achieve upward mobility and improve their quality of life. She previously founded the Latino Communications Institute at Cal State University Fullerton, a groundbreaking program aimed at preparing students for successful careers in communications. With nearly a decade of media experience at the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC), she has been a vital advocate for Latino media representation. Dr. González Perezchica holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of San Diego, a master’s in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, a master’s in public administration from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Cal State University Fullerton. Her recent accolades include being named one of the Girls Scouts San Diego Cool Women in 2022 and receiving the Social Mobility & Advancement Leader of the Year award from Cause San Diego in 2023. A proud binational citizen, she was born and raised in the San Diego-Tijuana transborder region.
