Rashmi Chitrakar

Rashmi Chitrakar is Director of Engineering for Qualcomm's Open Source Program Office. She leads an Engineering team that produces tools for Qualcomm's Open Source Compliance and Contributions efforts. On a day-to-day basis, Rashmi juggles fostering an Engineering community that both leverages and contributes to Open Source while catering to Qualcomm’s Open Source Legal Group’s due-diligence needs. Rashmi is passionate about mentoring and growing well-balanced Engineers who can build high-quality applications in a supportive and inclusive environment. In her spare time, Rashmi loves cooking, spending time with her children and traveling the world with her family.  Rashmi has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago and has worked with Qualcomm for 19 years.
